She was born in 1956 in Surrey into a highly artistic family, her father was a sculptor and a stonemason and her sisters are also artists.
After studying at the Epsom School of Art she has won the Laing Landscape competition and received many other awards. She has a great facility in capturing the spirit of sporting events and in fact was featured on BBC television painting at Test Cricket grounds and some of these paintings can be found in the Lords Museum. She particularly enjoys painting children and social sporting events such as Henley and Ascot.
She is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Academy, Royal Portrait Society, the New English Art Club and Royal Watercolour Society.
